April 2017

April has seen me deliver my first webinar to Australia. In this webinar we explored the issues of smart homes and independent living, Where we also discussed how emerging technologies would impact upon existing services through disruptive innovation.

I was also delighted to confirm that I will be returning to ATIA in 2018 for a second year as the international ambassador.

March 2017

In March I have been active on several aspects of projects related to refugees with a disability. I was a judge and panelist at the NLG summit in Amman. It was my great pleasure to meet with the disability authority and teaching institute whilst there to discuss aspects of access and inclusion.

February 2017

This month sees some interesting work to be carried out. I will be in Amman at the end of the month discussing approaches to the inclusion of refugees with special needs, and will also be attending the Zero Project Conference in Vienna at the end of the month. in Vienna Ill be sharing what I find that is both innovative and effective in supporting access and inclusion.

A new project is underway to support organisational needs for information and in addition Ill be looking at setting up a not for profit to support those locations where funding is not available to support my work.
